As first time home-owners, we had no idea what we were getting into with the "roof should be replaced soon" home we bought. Not only did Portillo provide the best price, they also had a very competitive timeline to complete the actual work. Also, they were very patient and dilligent walking us through the process, the options, the pros/cons of certain decisions, and demanded the highest standards of themselves and their work (permits, etc).

I cannot say enough good things about Portillo Roofing. Why can't I give them ten stars?

Our roof, cedar shake, was put on our house when it was built in 1988. I must have spoken to eight roofing companies. All were pretty clear that we were lucky to have them even look at our roof and were arrogant that it would need a ton of money to get it done and upsold at every opportunity.
What a breath of fresh air when Portillo came out, listened to what we wanted, were very positive and had a can do attitude.
True to their word, they started on time. They were amazing. Efficient, and got done with the roof in less time than expected and worked through a three day weekend. They were courteous and kind with our family, furry as well as human and our 33 year old roof looks beautiful. Attention to detail and workmanship top notch. If I had another roof, they would be the only people I would use.
